This major is designed for those interested in applied problem-solving and those who plan to pursue engineering or other technical fields. The curriculum creates a strong foundation in mathematical skills and cultivates the ability to apply those skills to scientific and engineering challenges. This major will help prepare for our engineering 3-2 programs with Notre Dame and Washington University in Saint Louis, have a strong start for a Master's in Engineering (including the 4-1 CAMP program with WPI), or be ready to enter the job market in various technical fields.
