To graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in the traditional track, a student must earn a minimum of 127 credits, which include courses in the Foundations Program in the arts and sciences and nursing courses. Students must meet all the degree requirements of Assumption University and attain a B- (2.7) or higher cumulative GPA in nursing courses. Courses designated with a * below require a final grade of B- (80%) or higher.
Advising Tips
- HSC 100 and MAT 114 or higher (depending on placement) must be completed prior to semester 4.
- HUS 121 must be completed prior to semester 5.
- Statistics and BIO 110 Nutrition must be completed prior to semester 6.
- Students will be dismissed from the school for academic performance when eight (8) credits of unsuccessful attempts is reached. The following conditions constitute an unsuccessful attempt in a course:
- Final grade less than B- (80%) in designated courses.
- A withdrawal (W) from ANY course.
- A final grade of (F) in ANY course.
