Career Development and Internship Center (CDIC)

The Career Development and Internship Center (CDIC) empowers full-time undergraduate and Accelerated MBA students to discover, pursue, and achieve their career aspirations by providing expert guidance, comprehensive resources, and valuable experiential and networking opportunities. Our Career Development Model provides a structured yet flexible approach to career planning and development that integrates experiential learning opportunities to help students successfully transition into professional roles or attend graduate school after completing their degrees. The model consists of four phases:

  1. Explore – The initial stage involves self-reflection and career exploration to discover interests, values, and strengths.
  2. Engage – Active participation in experiences helps build skills, gain knowledge, and test career interests.
  3. Experience – Students enhance their professional presence and immerse themselves in professional environments to gain deeper insights and practical knowledge in their chosen fields.
  4. Embark – Preparation for the transition from academic life to professional careers or graduate school marks the final phase.
