Intercollegiate Athletics

The Intercollegiate Athletics Program is directly related to the education of the students. It is designed to enhance the athletic skills and competitive instincts of all participants. In addition, intercollegiate athletics assists in the development of the personal characteristics of fairness, cooperation, self-control, and good sportsmanship, and to extend the student’s physical and social capacities. Assumption University offers the following 26 varsity athletic programs in NCAA Division II: Baseball (Men’s), Basketball (Men’s and Women’s), Cross Country (Men’s and Women’s), Field Hockey (Women’s), Football (Men’s), Golf (Men’s and Women’s), Ice Hockey (Men’s and Women’s), Lacrosse (Men’s and Women’s), Rowing (Women’s), Softball (Women’s), Soccer (Men’s and Women’s), Swimming (Men’s and Women’s), Tennis (Men’s and Women’s), Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field (Men’s and Women’s), Volleyball (Women’s).
