Office of Student Engagement and Leadership

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership and its programs provide social, career, and leadership experiences to students outside of the classroom. The department supports student development and a vibrant campus life program, with an array of social, recreational, academic and cultural activities to develop the co-curricular student experience. The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is comprised of:

The department goals of the staff in Student Engagement and Leadership are:

  • Cultivate opportunities for leadership development and personal growth.
  • Inspire students to make a positive impact through service, programs, and community engagement.
  • Support lifelong learning through mentoring relationships and shared experiences.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, social responsibility, belonging, and mutual respect.

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership works closely with students to organize, publicize, and implement co-curricular activities including more than 60 clubs and organizations. Additionally, the Office is also responsible for student leadership training and development, First Year Student Orientation, and campus programming.
